The City of Carrollton is located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is a vibrant corporate and residential community. With more than 1,230 acres of developed park land, Carrollton’s park land per capita is one of the highest in the Metroplex. The City of Carrollton’s parks and recreation facilities include two recreation centers, a swimming facility, a senior center, homestead museum, tennis center, and an amphitheater. In addition, there are playgrounds, playing fields, hiking and biking trails, and picnic areas scattered throughout the city. Two 18-hole golf courses at the Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton have been rated among the top municipal golf courses in the state. Additional facilities include two recreation centers, two public swimming facilities and an amphitheater.
